Electrical Engineer

About The Role

To support Atelier Ten’s continued success. We have established, and continue to maintain, efficient and effective business knowledge and quality management systems in order to provide our clients – in both the private and public sector – with first‑class services covering the full range of design, construction, building services, engineering and maintenance disciplines, and by providing first‑class project development and management services including an award‑winning design solutions consultancy service.

The post holder will be responsible for supporting and delivering work on a range of projects.

• Committed to pursuing CPD in all areas
• Demonstrate an interest in electrical engineering
• Demonstrate an interest in Atelier Ten’s approach
• Able to produce complex calculations and drawings under supervision and work independently on some tasks
• Able to produce complex design under supervision and work independently on some tasks
• Willingness to develop an awareness and understanding of other disciplines
• Liaise with in‑house engineers, the environmental team and members of the CAD team
• Aware of agreed time scales and able to work to deadlines
• Provide updates as and when required to line manager
• Appreciates the importance of clients, architects and other design team members to Atelier Ten
• Foster positive working relationships within Atelier Ten

• Relevant professional qualifications
• Ability to work without supervision
• Ability to prioritise and to think strategically about the timing and way of delivering project information
• Ability to identify project resource requirements
• Strong people‑management skills
• Good inter‑personal skills
• Strong writing skills for producing written reports
• Effective IT skills for producing material
