Whether you're seeking a permanent opportunity or an Outside IR35 contract position, this role offers the chance to work on meaningful projects that directly improve critical infrastructure and the environment.

  • Up to £60,000 salary or £35-£45/hr Outside IR35

You'll play a key role in the design and delivery of wastewater infrastructure projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical engineering solutions for a range of schemes across the regulated water sector.

Projects currently include upgrades to wastewater treatment works, pumped storm storage schemes, CSO improvements and new-build pumping station developments.

This is a role that offers variety, technical challenge and exposure to projects that are central to the future of the UK's water infrastructure.

  • Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) improvement projects
  • New-build Pumping Stations
  • Environmental improvement and compliance programmes
  • Wider wastewater network infrastructure projects
  • Civil Engineering design experience within infrastructure or utilities projects

  • Comfortable managing workload and delivering to programme deadlines
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Hybrid office base from Manchester
  • Occasional site visits across project locations
  • Travel expenses paid for site attendance
The Opportunity Ahead

With AMP8 investment driving unprecedented levels of spending across the UK water industry, there has rarely been a better time to build a career in the sector.

This role offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, gain exposure to major infrastructure programmes and become part of a team delivering improvements that will have a lasting impact on communities and the environment for years to come.
