Commercial Gas Engineer

We’re working with one of the UK’s fastest-growing property management companies to find a Commercial Gas Engineer who wants a role with no on-call rota, a fantastic package, and the chance to work on some of the country’s most high-end residential and student developments.

This is a rare opportunity for a Commercial Gas Engineer to take ownership of their patch, manage their own time, and work on modern buildings (1–10 years old) across Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, and Leeds. With several new sites due for completion in the next five years, this role offers real long-term stability.

The role

• Planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical gas systems & key building services

• Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm (travel time included)

• No on-call – any out-of-hours tasks handled in hours

• Client-facing – you’ll be trusted to build strong relationships

The package

• £45,000 basic + up to £10,000 achievable annual bonus

• Company van & fuel card

• 25 days’ holiday + bank holidays

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer

• Current Commercial Gas qualifications, such as:

• COCN1 – Core Commercial Gas Safety

• CODNCO1 – Changeover Domestic to Commercial Gas Safety

• ICPN1 – First Fix Pipework for Commercial Installation

• TPCP1A/TPCP1 – Testing & Purging of Pipework
