Civil Engineer

The Opportunity

We are currently working with a well-established and growing engineering consultancy in Manchester who are looking to appoint a talented Civil Engineer to join their dynamic team.

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking business delivering high-quality infrastructure and development projects across the UK.

As a Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of a wide range of projects including residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments. You’ll be working alongside experienced engineers and technicians, contributing to innovative and sustainable solutions.

• Design of highways, drainage, and infrastructure projects
• Production of engineering drawings and technical reports
• Preparation of flood risk assessments and drainage strategies
• Liaison with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders
• Support project delivery to agreed deadlines and budgets
• Undertake site visits as required

We are interested in candidates who have:

• A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience in infrastructure design within a consultancy environment
• Knowledge of UK design standards and regulations
• Proficiency with software such as AutoCAD, Civils 3D, Micro Drainage, or similar
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Progression towards Chartership (ICE) is desirable
