Job Role of the Project Engineer:

As a Project Engineer, you will lead the planning and delivery of site projects following Capex approval, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. Working with both internal teams and external partners, you will play a key role in driving improvements and supporting the site’s future direction.

• Manage and coordinate project activities and meetings
• Identify risks and implement mitigation plans
• Oversee quality and technical delivery
• Communicate with stakeholders and maintain strong working relationships
• Collaborate with production teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure smooth execution

• Strong project management experience within a manufacturing environment

• Proven experience managing projects up to £1 million
• Multi‑skilled with an electrical bias (60/40 mechanical candidates welcome to apply)
• Experience developing project documentation including Scope of Work, RAMS, ITPs
• Apprentice trained or an engineering or Project Management qualification
• A confident self‑starter, able to hit the ground running and bring experience to the business

• Experience with in heavy or FMCG manufacturing environments
