Senior Civil Structural Engineer

Civil Structural Senior Engineer Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Structural Senior Engineer to join our team, delivering civil and structural engineering outputs primarily for water sector projects. Working both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, you will produce detailed analysis models, calculations, sketches, and reports. You will provide technical guidance, ensure adherence to processes and standards, and interface closely with construction operations to deliver projects on time and within budget.

A key part of your role will be to challenge existing designs and deliver value engineering solutions while confidently communicating with clients to promote our in-house civil and structural design capabilities. You will also mentor and train junior engineers, supporting their professional development. The role requires a degree-qualified Chartered or Incorporated Civil or Structural Engineer with strong UK project experience, particularly within the water sector, and a thorough understanding of current UK regulations, design codes, and health & safety requirements.

Expertise in steelwork connection design or reinforced concrete detailing is essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment are critical and non-negotiable for this position.
