About the roleAbout the role:
This is an excellent opportunity for a building services engineer looking to develop their career in a National Infrastructure organisation. The role involves working in a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, supporting specialist projects within the railway environment. The success of these projects will allow the business to meet its decarbonisation and sustainability targets and provide a greener railway. You will be working on design assurance, construction and commissioning of new facilities for the travelling passengers to improve the future of travel.

This role sits within Band 4C £43,588 - £53,167 Depending on experience.

The successful candidate can be based i n Manchester.
As this is a role in a regional team,
travel across NW&C is required. Candidates should be comfortable with frequent travel to client sites, regional offices, or other business locations as needed.

- Implement Network Rail systems and procedures to maintain a cost effective, high quality, safe and environmentally responsible approach to design, construction, commissioning and other technical activities on relevant projects, compliant with all relevant legislation. Liaise with regulators and others as appropriate.
- Engineer projects to the standards and specification of Network Rail, allocated design and construction contracts include reference to and are compliant with appropriate Railway Group and Network Rail Company standards, formal specifications and procedures.
