About the role

To manage Signalling design and construction activities for allocated projects.

We are seeking a motivated Signalling Engineer to join our team as Project Engineer [Signalling], supporting the delivery of key railway projects primarily across the North-West Route.

Many of these projects form part of our Manchester North Transformation Portfolio (MNTP). Delivered by Network Rail Capital Delivery, these project deliver significant benefits to the North West and specifically the Manchester area and include major enhancements project at Manchester Oxford Road, Manchester Airport and Manchester Picadilly . This portfolio includes multi-disciplinary projects of varying scale, complexity and maturity across different PACE stages.

Alongside the core responsibilities of the Project Engineer [Signalling] role, you will also have opportunities to broaden your experience by undertaking the Designated Project Engineer (DPE) role where appropriate.

Package :
This role sits within Band 4C, salary range £43,588 - £53,167 Depending on experience.

Location :
The successful candidate will be based in Manchester Square One.

You’ll ensure all engineering and project activities are delivered safely on time and within budget, while meeting Network Rail standards, legislation and environmental expectations.
