Senior Planner - Highways

We are recruiting a Senior Planner to support a Tier One consultancy in a client side role.

The assignment has an indicative determination of outside IR35, with an offered rate of approximately £450–£475 per day.

The initial commission will run until the end of October 2026, with the potential for a further six month extension.

This is ideally a three day per week assignment, with one day each week required at the client’s office, conveniently located close to Manchester Piccadilly station.

To be considered, you will need:

Extensive highways project experience gained within a local authority environment, rather than on major infrastructure projects
Client-side experience gained either with a consultancy or directly with a client organisation
Demonstrable experience using Primavera P6
Experience working across both pre and post contract stages
Experience managing planning and project controls in accordance with NEC contracts
