My Client, a market leading multidisciplinary Consultancy with offices based across the UK, is searching for a Senior Drainage Engineer to join their team in Manchester.
This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join an innovative team who specialise in flood risk, drainage and infrastructure engineering for both public and private sector clients. With a wide portfolio of projects you will have the chance to design flood risk, drainage and infrastructure solutions for Residential, Commercial, Retail, Healthcare, Renewables and Education Sectors for both public and private sector clients.
As a Senior Drainage Engineer you will be required to complete varied technical work including;
-Flood Risk Assessments for flood zone 1,2 and 3.
-Flood Risk Mapping using ArcGIS.
-SuDS Strategies.
-Drainage, attenuation and SuDS design using info drainage and causeway flow.
-Access road design.
-Detailed designs for S104, S106 and S278.
-Design of sustainable drainage solutions for residential, commercial, healthcare, retail and educational projects.
-Client meetings to discuss project progress, on occasion.
-Support team members with designs.

It is essential that applicants have a strong BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering or Environmental Management and experience working for a UK based Consultancy completing flood risk assessments, drainage strategies, roads and drainage design using info drainage or causeway or AutoCAD.
It is essential for applicants to enjoy working in a fast-paced working environment to complete projects from feasibility to completion. You will also have the confidence to liaise with clients to discuss project progress.
