Position: Senior/ Principal Civil Engineer
Our client, a renowned consultancy in the water sector, is currently seeking a Senior/Principal Civil Engineer. This is a contract position, and our client offers this opportunity at multiple office locations throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading and delivering civil engineering projects within the water sector
Managing project teams and ensuring the timely completion of deliverables
Providing technical oversight and guidance on both infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects
Developing and reviewing detailed civil engineering designs, including specifications and calculations
Collaborating with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
Ensuring compliance with industry standards and relevant regulations
Participating in project meetings and presenting technical information
Mentoring and developing junior engineers

Job Requirements:

Extensive experience in civil engineering within the water sector
Strong knowledge of civil design principles and relevant software
Proven track record in leading engineering projects from inception to completion
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
Understanding of IR35 regulations and working within its framework
Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
