Environmental & Sustainability Advisor| Power Generation, Energy Infrastructure & BESS Manchester - Permanent
Environmental & Sustainability Advisor required to join a well-established engineering business operating within the power generation and energy infrastructure sector. This is a position where you'll have the opportunity to influence environmental performance, carbon reduction and sustainability initiatives across a growing organisation delivering complex engineering projects.
What You'll Be Doing- Managing and improving the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System
- Supporting carbon reduction and Net Zero initiatives
- Greenhouse gas accounting and carbon reporting
- Scope 3 emissions assessments and supply chain engagement
- Supporting Carbon Reduction Plans and sustainability strategies
- Environmental audits and compliance activities
- Producing sustainability and environmental performance reports
- Supporting major project and tender submissions
- Driving environmental improvement initiatives across the business

- Environmental Consultancy
- A degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Environmental Engineering or similar
- MIEMA, FIEMA or CIWEM membership
- Experience operating and maintaining ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems
- Knowledge of greenhouse gas accounting and carbon reporting
- Experience with Scope 3 emissions assessments
- Sustainability reporting experience
- Understanding of environmental legislation and compliance requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence
