Your new companyA leading engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join the Manchester team. The business delivers innovative, sustainable design solutions across sectors including commercial, energy, healthcare, education and defence, offering exposure to complex, high-profile projects and excellent career development opportunities.
Your new role
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll be responsible for the design and delivery of mechanical building services projects from concept through to completion. You'll work on HVAC and public health systems, produce technical calculations and specifications, support BIM coordination, attend client meetings, and assist with site inspections and commissioning activities.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience with in Mechanical Design.
Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
Knowledge of software such as IES and Revit.
Understanding of UK building regulations and engineering standards.
Interest in sustainable and low-carbon building design.
Working towards chartership would be advantageous. What you'll get in return
