The QA Tester role is a great opportunity for someone looking for their first role in the Gaming industry.
Salary: £25,750.00
Hours:
35 hours per week
Location:
Chadderton Fully onsite role, 5 days a week.
- Bring your passion for gaming to life by contributing to the development and enhancement of engaging game experiences.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to support the delivery of high‑quality gaming products and platform updates across UK and international markets.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, processes, and overall product experience, and proactively share your ideas.
- Communicate observations, feedback, and insights clearly to help drive continuous product improvement.
- Support teams across the business when needed, contributing to a collaborative and team‑oriented culture.
- Take ownership of your work while remaining adaptable to shifting priorities and new challenges.
- Continuously learn and build knowledge of game functionality, tools, and systems to stay effective and informed.
- Strong working knowledge of testing methodologies, the QA process and the development life‑cycle.
- Run functional, performance, usability and compliance tests for UK and International gaming products, and for updates to the platform software.
- Find and report issues on game software being tested in a clear and accurate manner.
- Update test cases or suggest new cases when relevant.
- A genuine passion for gaming and curiosity about how great player experiences are created.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to share ideas clearly and effectively.
- A detail‑oriented mindset with excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
- Confidence working independently, with a proactive and self‑motivated approach.
- The flexibility to adapt to a variety of tasks in a dynamic environment.
- A willingness and ability to quickly learn new tools, systems, and processes.
- Solid computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Office tools such as Word and Excel.
