Bookkeeper

Position: Bookkeeper (Permanent)
We’re looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our client’s growing and highly respected Finance Team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

* Managing day-to-day bookkeeping for a diverse client portfolio using Xero and Dext

* Processing invoices, payments, and expenses across both purchase and sales ledgers

* Reconciling bank accounts and credit card statements

* Preparing and submitting VAT returns in line with current HMRC requirements

* Assisting with self-assessment tax returns and corporation tax compliance

* Responding promptly to client queries while developing strong, long-term relationships

* Working closely with colleagues to deliver a high-quality, seamless service

What We’re Looking For:

* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a bookkeeping role

* Strong proficiency with Xero and Dext (essential)

* Solid knowledge of bookkeeping principles, VAT, and basic tax processes

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* High level of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail
