Accounts Assistant

Position: Accounts Assistant (Permanent)
Fin Search are recruiting an Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis for a private equity backed financial services business based in Manchester city centre.
This is a newly created role due to continued growth of the business.
The business is operating a hybrid working model 3 days in the office and 2 days s is an excellent opportunity for a bright and ambitious finance professional looking for a fast paced and varied role with exposure to month end. The business will provide full AAT study support.
Reporting in to a qualified Financial Controller, as the Accounts Assistant, this role will work as part of a tight knit team responsible for providing high quality and timely support across accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash whilst supporting the month end close.
Duties will include, however are not limited to, accounts payable and receivable processing (both of which are low volume, high value), daily bank reconciliations, assisting with accruals and prepayments and assisting with balance sheet reconciliations.
The successful candidate will:

* Have gained some experience in an accounts payable, receivable, cash management or finance assistant role

* Have strong verbal and written communication skills

* Have excellent attention to detail

* Have started studying towards AAT - desirable
Up to £30,000 + full AAT study support + 22 days annual leave plus Christmas shut down (c26 days) and rising with service (plus bank holidays) + generous contributory pension scheme + hybrid working model + clear development and progession plan
