We’ve partnered with our client in their search for an Interim Finance Manager to join them for a 12-month period, offering critical support during a period of exciting projects and change.
As Finance Manager, you’ll take ownership of complex areas within the P&L and balance sheet, ensuring robust financial controls and processes are in place. You’ll play a key role in maintaining compliance, supporting audits, and driving improvements that safeguard financial performance.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage inventory accounting processes, partnering with operational teams to mitigate shrinkage risks and optimise cash flow.
- Analyse variances across the P&L and balance sheet, providing insights to senior finance leadership.
- Contribute to the annual audit and prepare financial statements in line with UK GAAP and IFRS.
- Stay informed on technical accounting developments and assess their impact on financial performance.
- Champion internal controls, ensuring all balance sheet accounts are reconciled and compliant with audit standards.
- Address internal audit actions promptly within your areas of responsibility.
- Collaborate with peers across regional finance teams, balancing local business needs with group reporting requirements.
- Qualified ACA, ACCA, CAANZ or similar
- 2-3 years in a similar role
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience with UK GAAP and IFRS.
- Proven ability to manage complex financial processes and controls.
- Excellent analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and deliver under tight deadlines
This is an urgent role and candidates who are available immediately or at short notice are preferred.
