Robert Walters are currently partnering a leading business based in Warwickshire in their recruitment of a Graduate Finance Assistant to join a dynamic finance team in a fast-paced and supportive environment. As a Graduate Finance Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the finance function, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across a range of responsibilities. You’ll work closely with the Finance Manager and wider team to manage accounts receivable, prepayments, accruals, reconciliations, and reporting.

• Invoice Management: Generate and issue invoices, monitor outstanding payments, and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepayments & Accruals: Process and reconcile prepayments and accruals, supporting month-end and year-end close.
• Reconciliation & Reporting: Perform regular account reconciliations and assist in preparing financial reports.
• Month-End Support: Prepare journal entries and ensure accurate financial records.

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• A proactive and flexible approach to problem-solving.
• AAT, ACCA, or CIMA qualifications (or working towards) are desirable.
