Financial Controller | Hybrid | 12-Month FTC | Up to £70,000 | Manchester
An established and growing business is looking for a hands‑on Financial Controller to join on a 12-month fixed‑term contract. This is a key role where you'll take ownership of core finance activities, partner with senior stakeholders, and help shape processes to support continued growth.
Responsibilities- Lead month‑end close and produce accurate management accounts.
- Prepare Board‑level reporting, including KPIs and performance insights.
- Manage cashflow forecasting and ensure robust financial controls.
- Oversee statutory and regulatory compliance (VAT, PAYE, filings).
- Mentor and develop team members.
- ACA / ACCA / ACMA qualified Accountant.
- Strong technical accounting skills and advanced Excel knowledge.
- Comfortable in a hands‑on role within a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience managing a team.
