Accounts Assistant

We are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and highly regarded company based near Trafford Park and Old Trafford. They are currently seeking a permanent Accounts Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is currently completing their AAT qualification. You will be joining a small, supportive finance team, offering valuable exposure to month-end processes and a broad range of accounting responsibilities. The role provides hands-on experience and strong development opportunities for someone looking to progress their career in finance.

• Processing purchase invoices, staff expenses and bank payments
• Assist with month end duties; accruals and prepayments
• Weekly BACS payment runs
• Maintain the sales ledger by processing invoices and dealing with supplier statements
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• Manage the credit control function of the business; including aged and current debt
• Other adhoc duties within the finance function.

• SAGE experience would be an advantage for this role
• IT literate including Excel usage
