Position: Management Accountant - (Interim)

We’re looking for an experienced Finance Professional to join our team and support monthly reporting, analysis, and group finance operations across our global business.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of critical financial reporting and analysis, work closely with senior stakeholders, and support a dynamic global finance team while contributing to accurate, timely, and high-quality reporting.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Monthly Reporting & Account Management:
    Own and deliver balance sheet reconciliations and monthly management accounts for Group holding companies, including consolidation adjustments.
  • Accounts Payable Oversight:
    Support and oversee the AP process for Group holding companies, liaising with a shared service centre to ensure timely processing and payment of invoices.
  • Team Support &

    Coaching:

    Mentor and support an offshore team member, providing guidance on processes, technical queries, and priorities to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
  • Journal Entries & System Management:
    Post journal entries in Navision (Microsoft Dynamics) and upload entities to Onestream (consolidation software) for monthly reporting purposes.
  • Charitable Foundation Liaison:
    Act as the key point of contact for the Group’s Charitable Foundation, ensuring donations are paid to approved charities and stakeholders are updated.
  • Loan Notes & VAT Management:
    Maintain loan note interest schedules with monthly accounting entries and prepare and review quarterly VAT returns for Group holding companies.
  • Related Party & Board Reporting:
    Prepare the Group related party balance reconciliation monthly, produce analysis for the monthly board pack, and respond to follow-up questions from senior stakeholders.
  • IFRS 16 & Budget Support:
    Provide support on IFRS 16 for monthly reporting and budgeting processes.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting:
    Prepare budgets and forecasts for the Group holding companies, supporting accurate planning and decision-making.
  • Audit & Compliance Support:
    Assist in the production of year-end audit deliverables, including preparation of select disclosures in consolidated Group accounts, and support external reporting for Norwegian holding companies.
  • Variance & Performance Analysis:
    Prepare monthly variance analysis and act as the key contact for queries relating to Group holding companies.
  • Ad-Hoc Financial Analysis:
    Provide financial analysis to support senior stakeholders in decision-making and respond quickly to short-notice requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Project Support & Bid Analysis:
    Support project-related financial queries and provide accurate financial information for bids, tenders, and award applications.

What We’re Looking For
  • Accounting

    Qualification:

    Qualified or part-qualified accountant with strong technical knowledge and confidence handling complex accounting issues.
  • Excel & Data Analysis

    Skills:

    Strong Excel skills with the ability to handle large volumes of data and produce high-quality financial analysis.
  • Organised & Enthusiastic: A committed, proactive individual with excellent organisation and the ability to interact effectively at all levels across a global organisation.
