Financial Controller

Financial Controller. Poole. £75-80K + benefits

Office based

This role is for an experienced Financial Controller to take ownership of a close-knit finance function for a growing SME on the outskirts of Poole. You will work closely with the Group Finance Director and play a key role in strategic decision-making, responsible for the company’s finances and managing a small team.

• Produce monthly management accounts with insightful commentary
• Prepare daily cash forecasts and update the company forecasting model
• Owner of bank accounts, prepaid cards, and credit card facilities
• Review weekly payroll and prepare monthly payroll
• Manage indirect taxes including PAYE, VAT, and CIS
• Support statutory accounts preparation, providing year-end information to external auditors

• CIMA/ ACCA / ACA qualified
• Knowledge of manufacturing / FMCG process would be advantageous
• Strong attention to detail
• Proactive, hands-on approach

• £75,000 - £80,000 Basic salary
• 25 days holiday (growing 1 day per year of service)
