Come join us in Grid Technologies - Solutions! As the Business Controlling Manager for Grid Technologies - Solutions HV UK&I (GT GS UK&I) you will be responsible for effective financial reporting, performance analysis, financial governance and strategy translation into financial results to ensure the financial integrity of business operations and ensured performance. Leading a team of finance professionals, you will oversee financial reporting and performance monitoring while driving strategic initiatives for Solutions HV UK&I.

This role demands strong leadership and collaboration with departments across the organization to ensure compliance and alignment with strategic goals. Your leadership will be pivotal in driving performance and contributing to the overall success of the business.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Fully responsible for the financial management reporting and performance controlling tasks including preparation, monitoring and analysis of all relevant KPIs in GT SO HV UK&I
  • Prepare financial information for strategic decision-making for the company required by regional and execution unit leadership
  • Lead the forecasting and budgeting process and analysis in GT SO HV UK&I, ensuring accuracy and alignment across the organization, including monthly project reviews
  • Oversee all finance accounting systems for GT GSO UK&I, acting as a key liaison with relevant departments to ensure harmonized and compliant systems in the company
  • Set a Digitalization Roadmap and priorities for GT SO UK&I in alignment with GT business controlling and the Siemens Energy finance digitalization teams
  • Serve as the primary interface for all internal and external audit requirements, including responsibility for ICFR controls, IFRS/Local GAAP reporting, and Project Accounting for GT SO UK&I
  • Act as Finance Business Partner to Functional & Regional leaders, collaborating to drive cost centre control in alignment with business strategy and budget/forecast
What You Bring
  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
  • Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA) or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in senior financial roles, particularly in business controlling and financial management, operational P&L management experience within project business is a plus
  • Proven track record in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to lead and develop finance teams, encouraging a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office (expert knowledge of Excel), SAP, Tableau, Power BI and Jedox will be an added advantage
