Financial Controller

Forge Talent are partnering with a highly ambitious PE Backed Business in North Manchester to recruit a Commercial Financial Controller

Following a significant increase in M&A activity, the existing Financial Controller has transitioned into a dedicated M&A role. We are now looking to backfill this position with someone who can lead best in class BAU finance while bringing stronger commercial insight to the table.

• Lead all BAU finance operations and reporting
• Own monthly management accounts and board reporting
• Drive budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis
• Partner with operational leaders to provide commercial insight
• Maintain robust financial controls and governance
• Oversee and develop a strong finance team
• Support ongoing systems and process improvements
• Collaborate closely with the CFO and M&A team during integration phases

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Accountant
• Proven Financial Controller experience within a fast-paced, growth environment
• Strong technical grounding with clear commercial acumen
• Comfortable operating in a PE-backed or performance-driven setting
• Able to balance control, delivery and forward-looking insight
• Hands-on, proactive and resilient
