This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional with solid compliance experience who is looking to develop their technical expertise within a supportive and people‑focused environment. The RoleThis is primarily a compliance‑focused position, working within an established personal tax team and supporting a varied portfolio of clients including high‑net‑worth individuals, directors, sole traders, and partnerships.
- Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring all compliance deadlines are met
- Preparing and submitting Self‑Assessment tax returns accurately and efficiently
- Calculating tax liabilities and advising clients on payments and deadlines
- Handling HMRC correspondence and resolving routine queries
- Assisting with capital gains tax computations and other ad hoc personal tax matters
- Supporting senior team members on more complex tax cases as your experience develops
I am keen to speak with candidates who:
- Have at least 2–4 years’ experience within a personal tax compliance role
- Are ATT qualified or part‑qualified (CTA study support may be available)
- Possess strong technical knowledge of UK personal tax compliance
- Are highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and a proactive approach to client service
- Are looking to build a long‑term career within a progressive firm
