We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Dealing Support Supervisor to join our Fund Dealing team. Pershing provides a broad range of financial business solutions to investment banks, broker‑dealers, wealth managers, financial planners and advisers across EMEA. We provide sophisticated front‑end technology and flexible middle‑office capabilities with execution, settlement and custody services. These are supported by a robust regulatory and compliance framework with dedicated client asset experience and expertise.
This role is located in Manchester and is hybrid.
- Supervise a small team of Dealing Support employees
- Ensure all BAU tasks are completed on time and in line with the SLD
- Act as the day‑to‑day liaison and point of contact on all Dealing Support matters
- Proactively set up static data for Fund Dealing STP to operate at the highest level
- Process and track alternative fund deals that do not flow through the deal book
- Coordinate reconciliations and ensure that all daily and other breaks are resolved within required time frames
- Respond to client and FM/TA queries in a timely manner
- Coordinate all internal deal submissions to facilitate the correction of internal/client errors
- Regularly monitor inbox for client cancellation requests
- Process re‑opens for clients needing to amend trades
- Act as cover for sourcing fund prices
- Test releases, functional changes, and ad‑hoc testing which can include weekend and early morning tests
- Ensure team’s procedures are reviewed and accurately updated
- Experience of team and performance management
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel, including confident use of formulas, lookups and pivot tables
- Experience producing documentation of a management standard and running initiatives/responsibilities independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience of phone‑based liaison
- Fund/Financial services experience
