This role is with a well-established and large organisation, with a centralised group function in South Manchester. The company is known for its robust operations and commitment to delivering exceptional services to its customers.

• Lead a large management and financial accounting team, going through finance transformation.
• Oversee all accounting functions to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to enhance business performance.
• Lead and mentor the accounting team to achieve departmental goals.
• Ensure effective internal controls and risk management processes are in place.
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes and systems.
• SAP improvements.

• Proven expertise in accounting and finance, particularly within a large group or centralised finance function.
• Professional accounting qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience in managing stakeholder relationships effectively.
