Management Accountant

Management Accountant |£45K + study |Rochdale | Onsite | Some Hybrid

We are working with a highly successful and growing manufacturing business currently seeking a Management Accountant to join their expanding finance team. As the Management Accountant, you will support the finance function across month‑end reporting, forecasting, KPI analysis and business partnering. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and provide key financial insight to support decision‑making and continued growth.

• Assist with month-end accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and query resolution
• Review actual vs budget performance with budget holders
• Produce board reporting and contribute to key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Maintain weekly cashflow forecasting and KPI reporting
• Support payroll data entry and finance facility reconciliations
• Support Credit Control, Purchase Ledger and the wider finance team with day-to-day activities
• Support VAT and HMRC reporting requirements
• Assist with external audit processes
• Get involved in ad hoc project work and process improvement initiatives

We are looking for someone who can bring strong technical ability alongside a proactive and collaborative approach. You will ideally have:

• ACCA / CIMA / ACA part-qualified status, working towards full qualification
• Experience in a busy finance environment
• Strong Excel skills
• Confidence suggesting improvements to finance processes and reporting
