Portfolio Analyst

Our client is a growing private debt platform investing £10m–£50m into businesses across multiple sectors, including leisure, manufacturing, construction, and technology. Their funding solutions range from senior and second lien debt to unitranche facilities, working both alongside private equity sponsors and independently.

We are looking for a motivated and analytical professional to join their portfolio & risk team. You’ll be at the heart of monitoring and supporting their portfolio companies, combining financial analysis with relationship management.

Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing and analysing borrower financials, budgets, and forecasts
• Maintaining schedules, covenant calculations, and portfolio reporting
• Performing KPI and sensitivity analysis to assess business performance
• Preparing clear, concise reports and presenting key insights to colleagues, investors, and stakeholders

• Strong analytical skills and confidence working with financial models
• Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills;
  Power BI/Power Query experience is a plus
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly to both internal and external stakeholders
• Part or Full ACA/ACCA qualifications preferred.
• Ambitious, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
