Investment Executive – Private Equity

Overview

This is a very rare thing – a role in first-class private equity in Manchester at this level.

If you are a qualified ACA or CA, whether ICAEW or ICAS with exceptional customer facing and transactional advisory skills this could be the best career move you ever make. The business has a track record spanning decades investing in ambitious and growing businesses throughout the UK and beyond.

You will perform a valuable role primarily assisting the directors and partners in identifying risks and opportunities and performing due diligence on potential new investment and exit opportunities. These could be new platform deals, bolt-on acquisitions and disposals or full exits.

To be considered you must have qualified as a chartered accountant with a quality firm of accountants (it does not have to be Big
4) and have up-to-date professional practice experience from within corporate restructuring / business recovery, including performing I  work or transaction services / financial due diligence. You will have first-class interpersonal skills, a keen interest in a career with an investor and some ‘commercial nous’.

The role does include the highly attractive benefit found in private equity of carried interest. Opportunities to progress are clear – a number of people I have personally helped over the years join this business at Executive grade are now directors and partners in the business.
