Welcome to the Audit Graduate Programme programme starts on Monday, 21st September 2026 for a firm-wide induction (you’ll need to be able to attend).

The trainee program will be designed to recognise skills and capabilities required for a career in technology enabled audit.
It enables trainees to gain a foundation knowledge in business, finance and accounting through the attainment of the ICAEW CFAB and CISA qualifications.
Over three years, you’ll gain hands‑on experience across a wide range of clients and sectors. You’ll work on audits that shape critical business decisions, all while studying towards a globally recognised ACA, CFAB, or ICAS qualification. With the support of in‑house experts, you’ll build technical, commercial and leadership skills that go far beyond the classroom.
Technology Risk AssuranceThe Technology Risk Assurance Controls team helps the audit team manage and mitigate risks associated with the audited entity's finance applications. We focus on the entity's IT systems and processes, identifying potential vulnerabilities, assessing the effectiveness of their controls, and providing recommendations to management where deficiencies are found in the applications tested. Our team works closely with the financial audit team to ensure that any deficiencies identified in applications do not affect the overall audit approach.
Keyresponsibilities
- IT General Controls testing over the financial applications
- Cyber Security Risk Assessments
- Database and Operating Systems controls testing
- IT Automated Controls programmes and configured on the financial applications
- Evaluations of third‑party controls

You’ll need to live within a commutable distance of the office in Manchester. Relocation support is not provided.
Salary: £28,000 per annum.
Required qualifications- Minimum 2:2 degree in any discipline (obtained or predicted)
- Three A-levels (or equivalent) at A*-C (excluding General Studies and Extended Projects), or four Scottish Highers or Advanced Highers at grade A-B (or equivalent, e.g., BTech extended diploma)
- GCSEs at grade 4 and above in Maths and English, or Scottish National 5 grade A-C
- Commitment to balance study and professional work
- The right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
