Management Accountant

Management Accountant- qualified or strong QBE North Manchester Salary: circa £48,000- £52,000 A well-established and growing business within the manufacturing sector is looking to appoint an experienced Management Accountant to join its finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a varied and hands on role that will support the preparation of monthly management accounts, project reporting and financial analysis across the business.

This opportunity would suit a commercially minded accountant with strong management accounts and analytical experience who enjoys partnering with operational teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of monthly management accounts with analysis and commentary Month-end reporting and reconciliations Costing and variance analysis Weekly revenue recognition reporting Cashflow analysis and cash book reconciliations Maintaining the fixed asset register Supporting annual audits Project margin and profitability analysis VAT returns and budgeting support Supporting project cost tracking and project closure processes

About You:

ACCA/ CIMA qualified or very strong QBE experience Previous experience within a similar Management Accountant role Background within manufacturing, engineering or construction preferred Strong ERP systems knowledge Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong communication and organisational skills Hands-on and adaptable approach High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Please send a copy of your CV for consideration.
