Property Loan Processor

Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site Property Loan Processor role based in Manchester. The Loan Processor will manage end‑to‑end processing of bridging and real estate loan applications, ensuring files are complete, accurate, and compliant with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Daily responsibilities include reviewing loan documentation, verifying borrower and property information, coordinating valuations and legal documentation, and liaising with underwriters, brokers, and solicitors to move each case forward.

The role involves communicating with clients and intermediaries to obtain missing information, clarify conditions, and provide updates on application status. The Loan Processor will also maintain detailed records in internal systems, support timely completions, and help identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and client experience.

• Strong experience in Loan Processing and Mortgage Lending, ideally within bridging finance or real estate lending.
• Proficiency with Loan Documents, including reviewing, organizing, and verifying application, security, and legal documentation.
• Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to manage expectations and build professional relationships.
• Solid understanding of UK property finance, basic credit principles, and regulatory considerations relevant to lending.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases under time pressure.
• Comfort using loan processing or CRM systems and standard office productivity tools (e.g., Excel, Word, email).
• Prior experience in a lender, broker, or financial services operations environment is highly beneficial.
• Relevant education or training in finance, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
