Location: Salford

The Financial Management and Reporting Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance within the business services industry. This position is based in Manchester and offers an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to contribute to the success of an established team.

Description

The Financial Management and Reporting Accountant is initially a 6 month contract and will be Hybrid working 3 days in Salford Quays office/2 remote. Key duties will include:

  • Prepare and review financial reports to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Support month-end and year-end financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and analysis.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
  • Ensure all financial records and statements are accurate and adhere to company policies.
  • Work closely with external auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within financial reporting and management practices.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant financial regulations and industry standards.
Profile

In Order To Apply For The Role You Should

  • Be at least ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified or Qualified by experience
  • Be able to consider a 6 month contract role
  • Have experience in preparing Management Accounts and Balance sheet reconciliation
  • Be able to commute 3 days per week to Salford office
