Oakleaf Partnership is delighted to be exclusively partnered with a sports retailer, who are looking for a Payroll Specialist, on a permanent basis. This role will be responsible for coordinating payroll operations, across the EMEA region, specifically France & Italy. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment, play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll delivery, and speak fluent French.

This role is on a hybrid basis consisting of 3/ 4 days per week, based in their Manchester office.

The Payroll Specialist will be assisting/overseeing duties such as:

• Process and oversee monthly payrolls, across France & Italy using ADP
• Collect, verify, and input payroll data including new starters, leavers, variable pay, and benefit deductions
• Liaise with external payroll vendors and internal stakeholders to meet payroll timelines and resolve discrepancies
• Ensure full statutory compliance with local payroll, tax regulations in each country
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year end reporting, including reconciliations and audit support
• Maintain payroll records in accordance with legal and internal policy requirements
