Our client is a global Big 4 firm, widely recognised as a leader in Corporate Tax. Their Manchester office is growing rapidly, offering a platform for ambitious professionals to take ownership of complex tax matters while benefiting from unrivalled support and development opportunities.

Your new role

As a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager, you'll manage client compliance, support on advisory projects, and build relationships with senior leaders across industry sectors. You'll gain exposure to transactions, international structuring, and cross-border planning, while developing the skills to progress to Manager level.

Key responsibilities
  • Managing day-to-day compliance and reporting for a portfolio of clients
  • Supporting on advisory projects, including restructuring, transactions, and tax audits
  • Building relationships with UK and international clients
  • Working alongside senior colleagues on cross-border and multinational projects
  • Supervising and developing more junior team members
  • Liaising with HMRC on technical matters when required
Qualifications
  • ACA/CTA (or equivalent) qualified, or part-qualified with relevant experience
  • Strong grounding in corporate tax compliance with exposure to advisory projects
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ambition to progress quickly in a Big 4 environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams
