Leading Top 10 Accountancy Firm with ambitious growth plans. Unique opportunity for seasoned Indirect Tax professional. We are working with a leading professional services firm in Newcastle who are looking for an indirect Tax Senior Manager or Associate Director to join their growing indirect tax function.

• Lead a regional and national indirect tax team, supporting growth across the North.
• Provide VAT compliance & advisory services to a wide range of OMBs and larger corporate clients across the UK.
• Act as a trusted adviser, managing and deepening client relationships and engaging on broader commercial and strategic issues, identifying opportunities to add value and expand the portfolio through proactive advice and insight.
• Lead staff development, conducting appraisals, giving performance feedback, and delivering hands‑on training to junior team members.
• Contribute to practice development and business growth by leveraging your professional network to generate new opportunities and drive cross‑referrals across service lines.
• Ensure all compliance procedures are rigorously followed, aligning with HMRC and professional institute standards, while maintaining the highest levels of quality and integrity in client service.

• Solid VAT/Indirect Tax experience in a professional services firm in the UK.
• Suitably qualified ACA, ACCA, ATT, CTA or qualified by experience.
• Experience with indirect tax advisory.
• Previous experience managing and running indirect tax teams.
