Quality Assurance / Customer Operations

Location:

Manchester. Work: 3 days per week in office.

• Conduct technical audits of end‑to‑end financial crime cases, ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards and internal risk appetite.
• Monitor and assess adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to guarantee timely risk mitigation without compromising investigative depth.
• Proactively identify emerging risks, procedural gaps, or near‑misses and raise significant findings to senior stakeholders.
• Develop comprehensive monthly Management Information reports that translate audit data into actionable business insights.
• Analyze trends and root causes across the department to provide strategic feedback, shaping training, policy updates, and operational processes.

• Experienced Investigator with a solid background in Financial Crime, AML and KYC.
• Regulatory Mindset:
  Ability to deliver technically accurate, fully documented investigations in accordance with FCA expectations, Consumer Duty, and the Proceeds of Crime Act (POCA).
• Confident Communicator:
  Skilled at delivering constructive, evidence‑based feedback and explaining complex regulatory requirements to analysts and stakeholders.
• Analytical & Detail‑Oriented:
  Familiar with Quality Assurance frameworks or able to transition from investigative work to QA responsibilities, auditing the decision‑making process behind tasks.
• Objective:
  Possesses investigative curiosity, remains objective under pressure, and ensures quality is never sacrificed for speed.
