Credit Controller

We are looking to recruit a full‑time experienced Credit Controller. Working closely with the Credit Control Manager, this hands‑on role will contribute to the U Value Insulation Finance team. The role focuses on our distribution business and includes tasks such as credit report checks, cash sales management, aged debtors’ reports, expense analysis and assisting in driving timely and accurate data, processes and controls.

• Set up new accounts for customers on Intact
• Credit report checks
• Post & allocation of payments
• Cash sales management
• Communicate with customers via phone and email regarding payments and ensure any outstanding debt is paid
• Issue credit notes for cash sales / discount rebates
• Issue end of month statements
• Upload invoices and credit notes
• Debit notes treatment
• Major debtor remittance & treatment
• Issue major consolidated debtor statement

• Proven extensive experience in a Credit Control / Accounts Receivable role
• Results driven with a proactive "can do" attitude
• Ability to handle a large volume of transactions and tight deadlines
• Thrives in a busy, challenging and demanding environment
• Ability to find positive solutions while balancing stakeholder needs
• Open to challenging the status quo
• Strong attention to detail to ensure completeness and accuracy of information
• Strong computer and analytical skills; knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Works independently with initiative
• Valid driver’s licence
