About you
You will have a minimum of two years’ experience in credit control or experience working within an accounts team. In addition, you will also be able to demonstrate skills in the following:
- Communication – you are capable of engaging effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
- Confidence – the role involves regular telephone communication, including speaking with senior stakeholders such as directors.
- Resilience and professionalism – you are able to manage challenging conversations or situations and build positive working relationships.
- Technical skills – you have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Self‑motivation – you are able to manage your own workload and take initiative where required.
- Credit control across all OFR offices.
- Communicate via phone and email to chase outstanding payments.
- Build and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Responsible for overseeing the debtors across all offices.
- Assist with any other finance tasks as and when required.
- Run weekly debtor's sheet.
- Monitor aged debt and update Senior Credit Controller/Accounts Team Leader/Finance Director as and when required.
