We are looking for an experienced and motivated Finance Manager to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment and wants to play a key role in supporting business growth. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will oversee the day‑to‑day finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining strong financial controls while providing valuable insights to support strategic decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day‑to‑day finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash‑flow management.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax requirements.
- Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency.
- Support year‑end accounts preparation and coordinate external audits.
- Develop and maintain robust financial controls and processes.
- Produce financial analysis and management information to support business decisions.
- Mentor and support members of the finance team.
- Work closely with department managers to improve financial performance across the business.
- Previous experience in a Finance Manager or similar senior finance role.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and management accounting.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
