Finance Manager

Overview

Commercially focused role | Property | Hybrid working. Scope to progress to Finance Director. If you're looking for a role where you can influence business performance as well as oversee day-to-day finance, this is an opportunity to join a growing firm with an excellent reputation in its market. You'll take ownership of the finance function, work closely with senior leadership, and play a key role in supporting commercial decision-making.

This is a broad, hands-on position offering genuine autonomy and variety. Alongside producing high-quality management information, you'll help strengthen financial controls, support compliance, and provide valuable insight as the business continues to grow.

Our client is a highly regarded firm experiencing sustained growth across the UK.

• Produce monthly management accounts, financial reporting and commercial insight to support business performance.
• Lead the day-to-day finance function, including cash flow management, payroll, VAT, and financial controls.
• Oversee client money compliance, audit preparation, AML processes, and financial governance across the business.
• Partner with operational teams to improve financial reporting accuracy, project profitability, and business performance.

• Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar senior finance / accounting role, with responsibility for management accounts and cash flow.
• Experience with in the property sector would be beneficial.
• Ideally CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualified.
• Strong accounting systems experience, together with advanced Excel skills.
• Experience managing financial controls, compliance, audit processes, and statutory reporting within an SME environment.
