Corporate & M&A Tax Manager

Corporate & M&A Tax Manager Manchester £55,000 - £70,000 + Benefits + Bonus I'm currently working with a leading accountancy firm in Manchester who are looking to expand their corporate & M&A tax team in Manchester. This is a brilliant role, with strong leadership that offers a good mix of corporate tax advisory and M&A focused work.

• Advise on tax structuring for M&A transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, and reorganisations
• Lead tax due diligence processes, identifying risks, exposures, and opportunities
• Provide input on SPA terms, tax covenants, warranties, and indemnities
• Support deal execution, including financing, post‑deal integration, and structuring implementation
• Deliver corporate tax advisory across large and complex groups, including cross‑border issues
• Manage tax aspects of group restructures, legal entity simplification, and financing arrangements
• Oversee corporate tax compliance and reporting for assigned entities or projects
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, external advisors, and investors on transaction‑related tax matters
• Identify tax‑efficient planning opportunities while managing risk and reputational considerations
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on transactions and structures
• Manage and develop junior team members, reviewing work and providing technical guidance
• Support tax audits and enquiries, particularly in relation to transactions or historic structuring

• Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CTA, ATT)
• Previous experience working on M&A transactions
• Due diligence experience
• Desire to work on a broad range of advisory matters
• Also open to broader corporate tax background wanting M&A
