Dealership Accountant

NRG Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a well-established and successful automotive dealership group in Manchester to recruit a Dealership Accountant on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join a fast-paced dealership environment, providing critical financial support to the senior management team and ensuring the smooth running of the dealership's finance function.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong financial controls, and providing commercial insight to support business performance.

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Produce profit and loss accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Monitor dealership performance against budget and forecast.
• Analyse key financial and operational KPIs, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Oversee daily accounting activities, including sales, purchase and nominal ledgers.
