Financial Controller

I am currently recruiting for a Financial Controller to join a purpose-led property development company at an exciting stage of its growth. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this is a newly created position offering the opportunity to play a key role in shaping the finance function.

This role offers an excellent blend of hands-on financial control, commercial finance, and strategic FP&A. Alongside leading the day-to-day finance team, you'll drive budgeting, forecasting and business planning, while helping to build a high-performing, commercially focused finance function.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the month-end process across multiple entities, ensuring robust financial controls and accurate reporting
• Producing monthly management accounts, financial reports, variance analysis and insightful commentary
• Managing treasury activities, including cash flow forecasting and banking relationships
• Leading the annual budgeting process, alongside regular forecasting and scenario planning
• Supporting long-term business planning through financial modelling and strategic analysis
• Developing meaningful KPI reporting to provide clear insight into business performance
