Are you a part-qualified or newly qualified finance professional who enjoys turning complex data into clear, commercially useful insight?
We are looking for a Technology & Change Finance Analyst to join our Finance team on a six-month fixed-term contract. Supporting a significant Technology and Change portfolio, you will provide high-quality cost analysis, forecasting and reporting to help senior stakeholders understand performance, manage investment and make informed decisions.
This is a fast-paced and varied role where you will work closely with Finance, Technology, Change and Controllership teams, supporting a technology cost base of approximately £100 million.
The role- Deliver financial planning, forecasting, reporting and analysis across Technology and Change costs, investments and programmes.
- Provide clear insight into cost performance, strategic investment and the impact on EBITDA.
- Support robust month-end, year-end and forecasting processes in partnership with Controllership.
- Review and challenge project and programme business cases, including assumptions, costs, benefits, risks and expected returns.
- Assess the financial impact of scope changes, delivery risks, opportunities and system implementations.
- Track project spend, investment delivery and benefit realisation across the change portfolio.
- Support major technology implementations, operating model changes and process redesign initiatives.
- Maintain and improve forecasting models, reporting materials, governance processes and financial controls.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and become a trusted finance partner to non-finance teams.
- Produce accurate, timely and easily understood reporting that supports effective decision-making.
- A part-qualified or qualified accountant
- Experienced in financial planning, forecasting, reporting and analysis.
- Highly organised and methodical, with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Confident working with complex data and presenting clear, straightforward conclusions.
- A strong communicator who can influence and challenge stakeholders constructively.
- Comfortable partnering with Technology, Change and other non-finance teams.
- Credible when working with senior management.
- A proactive self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and follow-through.
- Advanced in Excel, with strong PowerPoint skills.
Experience supporting technology costs, change programmes, process improvement or system implementation would be particularly advantageous.
