Join THG Ingenuity as a Finance Business Partner and play a key role in supporting fulfilment, warehousing and operational teams through insightful financial analysis, reporting and commercial decision support. Working within Fulfilment Finance, you will partner closely with operational and commercial stakeholders to drive profitability, improve financial controls, challenge costs and support business growth. Role

Purpose

To provide commercial and operational finance support across fulfilment, warehousing and client operations, partnering with stakeholders to drive profitability, improve financial controls, support client billing, and deliver accurate reporting and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver weekly and monthly reporting on fulfilment performance, including labour productivity, warehousing costs, client profitability and operational KPIs.
  • Own budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning for global fulfilment operations, identifying risks, opportunities and required interventions.
  • Produce weekly and monthly KPI reporting, analysing trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Act as the primary finance partner to site leadership teams, providing insight, challenge and support to improve operational efficiency, cost control and service delivery.
  • Business partner with commercial, operations and client services teams to ensure commercial decisions are understood, accurately costed and financially viable.
  • Drive client and fulfilment profitability through margin analysis, commercial insight and performance improvement initiatives across the global fulfilment network.
  • Support strategic projects including warehouse expansion, client onboarding, and process transformation.
  • Prepare & present business cases and financial analysis to support investment and operational decisions.
  • Lead month‑end close activities for fulfilment and operational cost centres, ensuring robust controls and accurate financial reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and automation opportunities across finance processes.
  • Lead, develop and mentor a team of four finance professionals, fostering a high‑performance culture, supporting professional development, and ensuring delivery of team objectives and financial controls.

  • Month‑end reporting delivered accurately and on time.
  • Forecast accuracy.
  • Cost savings identified and delivered.
  • Reporting automation and process improvement implementation.
Skills & Experience Essential
  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
  • Strong commercial finance and business partnering experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Ability to communicate financial information to non‑finance stakeholders.
Desirable
  • Experience with in logistics, fulfilment, warehousing or operational finance.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, AI or data visualisation tools.
  • Experience with financial modelling.
  • Experience working in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
