NC Associates are working in partnership with a well-established and growing organisation based in Trafford Park to recruit a Management Accountant
. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified, finalist, newly qualified or qualified by experience accountant looking to join a business that is continuing to grow and invest in its finance function.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting commercial decision-making and driving continuous improvement across the finance team. This position offers excellent exposure to senior stakeholders and genuine opportunities for long-term career progression.

• Preparing monthly management accounts with supporting commentary

• Producing monthly profit & loss, balance sheet and cash flow reports

• Posting journals including accruals, prepayments and depreciation

• Completing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating variances

• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting

• Producing KPI reporting and financial analysis

• Business partnering with operational managers across the business

• Supporting month-end and year-end processes

• Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls

• Assisting with cash flow forecasting and performance reporting

• Supporting ad-hoc finance projects as required

To be successful in your application, you must have the following:

• Previous experience working within a Management Accountant position

• ACCA / CIMA Part Qualified, Finalist, Newly Qualified or Qualified by Experience

• Experience preparing monthly management accounts

• Strong understanding of accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations

• Experience producing budgets, forecasts and variance analysis

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business

• A proactive and organised approach with excellent attention to detail

Desirable:

• Experience using ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle or Net Suite

• Previous experience within a manufacturing or commercial environment

• Experience with Power BI or other reporting tools
