Pricing & Margin Manager

This isn't a traditional finance role. Instead, you'll be at the heart of the business, working closely with Sales and senior management to develop pricing strategies, maximise margins and influence key commercial decisions.

The Opportunity Operating within a fast-paced, commodity-driven market, you'll take ownership of pricing strategy across thousands of products, ensuring the business remains competitive while protecting and improving profitability. You'll analyse customer behaviour, market trends and pricing performance, providing valuable insights that help drive revenue growth and commercial success.

This is a highly visible role where your recommendations will have a genuine impact on business performance. What You'll Be Doing Taking ownership of customer and product pricing across the business. Developing dynamic pricing strategies that maximise profitability. Analysing customer buying behaviour, market trends and price performance. Identifying opportunities to improve margins and reduce margin leakage. Working closely with the Sales team to create effective pricing structures, discount frameworks and commercial guidelines.

Producing meaningful commercial insights that support better business decisions. Building and maintaining pricing models using Excel, ERP systems and Power BI. Monitoring pricing performance and implementing corrective actions where required. Supporting new product launches with commercially competitive pricing strategies. Reviewing product ranges and identifying opportunities to improve product mix and profitability. Helping segment customers to improve pricing strategies and customer value.

The right candidate You'll be commercially minded, analytical and confident working with large volumes of data. You'll enjoy solving business challenges and influencing key stakeholders through evidence-based decision making. Also with:
Previous experience within Pricing, Commercial Analysis, Category Management or Commercial Finance. Advanced Excel skills with experience creating pricing or financial models. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. The confidence to challenge existing processes and influence commercial decisions. Experience working with ERP systems and business intelligence tools (Power BI would be advantageous). Experience managing large product ranges or SKU-heavy environments would be beneficial.

Competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000, depending on experience. Flexible working options, including consideration for part-time hours.
