Key Responsibilities Prepare weekly KPI reports and monthly management accounts with insightful commentary. Analyse financial performance, investigate variances and support budgeting and forecasting. Maintain balance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset records and cash flow reporting. Oversee revenue recognition, VAT returns and compliance with accounting policies. Support cash collection and monitor customer balances. Ensure the accuracy of financial data within accounting systems and maintain robust financial controls.
Partner with non-finance stakeholders, providing financial guidance and support. Assist with year-end audit preparation and finance improvement projects. Support transactional finance activities when required, including invoicing, accounts payable, bank reconciliations and payment runs. About You Previous experience as a Finance Manager, Management Accountant or in a similar all-round finance role. AAT qualified, part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA, or qualified through relevant experience. Strong management accounting skills, including month-end reporting, forecasting, balance sheet reconciliations and cash flow management.
Experience using accounting software such as Xero (or similar) and advanced Excel skills. Highly organised with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Confident communicating financial information to non-finance stakeholders. A proactive, hands-on approach with the flexibility to support both strategic and transactional finance activities.
